2. General Information on Data Protection

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of statutory provisions (GDPR, German Telecommunications Act). This privacy policy informs you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

3. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

3.1 When Visiting Our Website

When you use our website for informational purposes only, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called “server log files”).

When you access our website, we collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to display the website to you:

Storage period: This data is deleted after 7 days at the latest.

3.2 Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

Data processed: – Name – Email address – Phone number (optional) – Message content – Time of inquiry

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry).

Storage period: The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for achieving the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data from the contact form, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. A conversation is ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified.

If statutory retention periods apply (e.g., from commercial or tax law), deletion takes place after expiry of these periods.

3.3 Email Contact

If you contact us by email, the data you provide (your email address, possibly your name and telephone number) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry).

Storage period: We delete the data arising in this context after storage is no longer necessary, or restrict processing if statutory retention obligations exist.

4. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and that your browser saves. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses.

4.1 Technically Necessary Cookies

We use cookies that are technically required for the use of our website (so-called session cookies). These cookies are automatically deleted after your browser session ends.

4.2 Your Rights Regarding Cookies

5. Use of Gravity Forms

We use the WordPress plugin “Gravity Forms” for our contact form. The data entered via the form is stored on our web server in Germany and is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to process your inquiry.

Our website is hosted by the following hosting provider:

The servers are located in Germany (Berlin).

Each time our website is accessed, usage data is processed by the hosting provider and stored in server log files.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional website).

Data processing agreement: If the hosting provider processes personal data on our behalf, this is done on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

7. Transfer of Data to Third Parties

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

  • You have given your express consent to do so (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR),
  • The disclosure is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR),
  • In the event that there is a legal obligation to disclose (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR),
  • This is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

You have the following rights with regard to personal data concerning you:

8.1 Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR)

You have the right to obtain confirmation from us as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed. If this is the case, you have the right to information about this personal data and to further information in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR.

8.2 Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

You have the right to request that we immediately rectify inaccurate personal data concerning you. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data.

8.3 Right to Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

You have the right to request that we delete personal data concerning you immediately, provided that one of the reasons specified in Art. 17 GDPR applies.

8.4 Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

You have the right to request that we restrict processing if one of the conditions specified in Art. 18 GDPR is met.

8.5 Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from us.

8.6 Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR.

8.7 Withdrawal of Consent

If the processing of your personal data is based on consent given by you, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal shall not be affected.

8.8 Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

9. Data Retention Period

Unless specifically stated otherwise, your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for storage no longer applies. Storage may also take place if this has been provided for by European or national legislators in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which we are subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted when a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

10. Data Security

We use the widely used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser when you visit our website. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form can be recognized by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

11. Updates and Changes to this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is currently valid and dated March 2026.

Due to the further development of our website and offers on it, or due to changed legal or official requirements, it may become necessary to change this privacy policy. The current privacy policy can be accessed and printed out at any time on the website under “Privacy Policy”.

12. No Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR.

13. No Use of Tracking Tools

This website does not use any tracking tools, analytics services or similar technologies to analyze user behavior. Your data is not shared with third-party providers for marketing purposes.
